How and when will I receive my tickets?
1. Booking confirmed
After completing your purchase, you will receive a booking confirmation email. If the tickets are nominative, you will always receive a form to complete your personal details by email, WhatsApp, and SMS. It is essential to complete it within 30 minutes of the booking in order to correctly issue the tickets.
2. Ticket delivery
Our delivery commitment is:
- Up to 24 hours before the visit for advance bookings.
- Up to 1 hour before the visit for bookings made less than 24 hours in advance.
Once the tickets are available, you will receive them by email and, additionally, we may send them via WhatsApp and/or SMS for your convenience. Furthermore, 24 hours before your visit, you will receive an automatic reminder through the same channels.
3. Exception: tours with on-site ticket delivery
For guided tours, tickets are not sent in advance, as they are delivered directly by the guide to the customer.
- Delivery takes place at the meeting point, on the day and time of the visit.
- The customer must go to the meeting point indicated in the booking confirmation email.
The type of tour purchased (digital delivery or on-site delivery) is clearly indicated in the booking confirmation email sent immediately after purchase.
Is the ticket to enter the Academy of Florence included in my purchase?
Yes, all our tours include entrance tickets to the monument.
What should I do if I booked a GUIDED TOUR?
When you purchase your tickets with a guided tour, we will indicate the meeting point for the visit. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to avoid any setbacks.
What should I do if I booked tickets with an AUDIO GUIDE?
When you purchase your tickets with an audio guide to the Gallery of the Academy, you will receive two emails. The first is the confirmation of your purchase; the second contains instructions and a link to access your customer area, where you will find your audio guide and your museum tickets.
What documentation do I need to access the monument?
Tickets to the Gallery of the Academy of Florence are not nominative, but if you have a combined visit that includes access to the Uffizi Gallery, you must provide personal details of all attendees and bring an original ID, as it is required for that museum.
Can I present my tickets in digital format?
Yes, you may enter with the original digital ticket. Increase your screen brightness at the entrance and ensure the barcode is clearly visible.
Do children need tickets to enter the Gallery of the Academy of Florence?
Minors enter the Gallery of the Academy for free, but they must still obtain a ticket to visit.
Can I change or cancel my tickets?
No, once the reservation has been made, you cannot modify information such as name, date, or time of the visit, nor cancel it. Refunds are not possible. These conditions are stated on the website and accepted during the purchase process, including the final step, where our cancellation policy is confirmed.
There are no exceptions, whether due to illness, COVID, work reasons, travel cancellations, etc., as established by the institution.
Once tickets have been purchased, THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY OF RETURN OR REFUND.
The only exception is if the monument itself closes without prior notice. If this occurs, you are entitled to a full refund, automatically processed through the same payment method used for the purchase.
Can I exercise the right of withdrawal?
No, the right of withdrawal does not apply according to Law 3/2014 of March 27, which modifies the consolidated text of the General Law for Consumer and User Protection, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16. Article 103 states that the right of withdrawal does not apply to: (l) The provision of leisure services when the contract includes a specific date or period of execution.
Is it possible to eat inside the monument?
No, eating or drinking in the Gallery of the Academy of Florence is not permitted in order to preserve the artworks. Only water in bottles of up to 500 ml is allowed.
Is there a cloakroom service at the monument?
The museum does not have a cloakroom or storage area, so you must take this into account when planning your visit. Large backpacks or suitcases are not permitted; you must leave them at your accommodation or an external luggage storage service. Maximum accepted size: 40x30x18 cm.
Is the visit cancelled in case of rain?
No, regardless of the weather, the visit can take place without any issue.
What happens if the monument closes?
If the monument closes due to force majeure, you may reschedule the visit for another day and time; if rescheduling is not possible, you may request a full refund of the ticket price.
Are pets allowed inside the monument?
No, pets are not allowed inside the Gallery of the Academy. Only accredited service dogs may enter.
Can I enter the Gallery of the Academy at a different time than the one selected during purchase?
No, visiting at a different time or date is not allowed, in order to maintain proper visitor flow and ensure everyone enjoys the experience.
How long can I stay inside the Academy of Florence?
There is no time limit for your visit, beyond the museum's opening and closing hours.

The estimated time to enjoy the Gallery of the Academy is between one and two hours.
